An exploration in texture.
I try to blend traditional craftsmanship with innovative surface treatments, reflecting my deep admiration for Mid-Century art. Using both hand-building and wheel-throwing methods, I create forms that are not only functional but also sculptural. My choice of bold colors and geometric patterns pays homage to the vibrant aesthetic of the Mid-Century movement, while my incorporation of printmaking techniques allows me to experiment with layering textures and designs. This combination results in pieces that are visually striking and invite closer inspection.
